Welcome Anna Courtney Drake

Anna Courtney Drake came into the world on February 25, 2007 at 3:21am. She weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and measured 19 3/4 inches.

labor started exactly the same way that it did with our last child Seth, but turned out a little different. While labor with Seth only lasted 1 1/2 hours, Anna hung around for about 10 hours before she was ready to make her entrance in the world. we arrived at the hospital at 5:30 in the evening but barely made any progress until about 1:30am. All the progress was made in the last 90 minutes and she was ready at 3:12. Stacey did a wonderful job throughout and our great nurses made sure that things went very smoothly.

Noah and Ella have visited the hospital twice and are extremely excited for little Anna to come home. Seth doesn't really have a clue but is in for a rude awakening when he realizes that he is not the baby anymore. He is quite the mama's boy and that will come to a screeching halt!

Stacey and Anna will be going home tomorrow and then the fun really starts!

Seth Climbing Pictures and Video

Seth is by far the most fearless child we have. Combine that with his creativity and we have our hands full. He figured out how to push a little table that he has up against the door and open it, before he was even able to walk. His latest feat is climbing onto the dining room chair and then onto the table. I discovered this the other night while i was cooking dinner, I turned around to find him on the table putting Cheetos into a glass of water. I to some video of him climbing on the bunk bed and a couple of pics as well.
